Trick-Or-Treat!

Yes, I am posting these very, very late and back-dating them since I didn't have time to post them sooner.  I don't want anything to be missing :)

Halloween was very fun, and Max was very sad when it was over.  Luckily, there were pumpkins and scarecrows around for a few weeks after :)

The week before Trick-or-Treat we had a pumpkin carving party at our friends' house.  Max was very excited and actually did some of the carving...

And then it was fnally time for Trick-or Treat!  But this time, Max was very excited about his monkey costume and loved wearing it.  We went to the neighborhood where we're building our new house and trick-or-treated with some of our friends.

Max wasn't quite sure about it at first.  He's still in his phase of not liking new things, so we had to take him up to each door...

But soon, he worked up the courage to try it by himself :)

And he became one of the crowd in no time :)

The best part about it was that Max still doesn't know what candy is, so he was more excited to get to as many houses as possible so he could keep saying "Trick-or-treat!"  It was adorable.  Even after this, he still didn't ask to try any candy...

When we got back to our friends' house, we finally let Max have one (and his only) piece of Halloween candy.  We then quickly replaced all of the candy in his pumpkin with new Matchbox cars and other little toys.  He was thrilled!  And we we equally thrilled that he hasn't realized what candy is yet :)

Max's friend also gave him this Thomas the Train costume, but after about 10 seconds of wearing it, he wanted it off.  Good thing he liked the monkey so much!

Here's one more picture of a pumpkin patch... what are we going to do for weekend entertainment now that Haloween is over?!?
