Kristin's visit

I can't believe it's already been 3 1/2 weeks since Kristin left :( We had the best time when she was here. Lots of trips to the beach, and of course, we made it down to Byron Bay.Also went to Burleigh beach...And Main beach...Max was just happy to have Kristin to play with at home.Max's big night out on the town - went to Broadbeach for dinner and stayed up waaaay past his bedtime (which isn't very late considering we had dinner at 5:30pm!).And Kristin and I even got to have a Girls Night Out while Colin stayed home with Max...And even though we're smiling, we were VERY sad to say goodbye at the airport. (Max was looking for Kristin for days after she was gone :(
We miss you Kristin!!!

Happy Easter!

We had a great first Easter with Max. After the Easter bunny delivered his enormous Easter egg (shaped like a football of course)...

And we dressed Max up in his bunny ears...

We went over to our friends' house for afternoon tea and an Easter egg hunt for the babies :)

While we all ate cake, the babies played and of course, we had to dress them up in their bunny ears together :)
Max loved his new designer outfit from Grandma, especially when he and Colin dressed the same in their Polo shirts and cargo pants :)
Later that night, he changed into his comfy clothes and started in on his Easter egg...

(Don't worry - no chocolate was actually consumed by Max :)

Are we spending too much time together??

Max doesn't seem to mind that we're wearing the same outfit :)

I swear, he'll do ANYTHING to get out of taking his nap!

St Patty's Day

Max and I had a great time on St. Patty's Day (Colin was away for work). And thankfully, Grandma sent Max his adorable bib, or he wouldn't have had anything to wear!I'm not sure what he was so upset about... I think he was upset that Colin was gone :)

Random pics from 4-5 months

I know! He just turned 6 months and I'm very behind in my blogging. Here are a few photos I haven't had the chance to post yet.

Max is a baby who never wants to miss out on anything and therefore, never shows signs of being tired. For the first time EVER, a week before he was 5 months, he put his head down to rest while he was playing :)

He also had a visit from his friend Joe Bock, who is 4 months younger than him. He looks like a sumo baby next to Joe! :)
Joe thinks so too...

So, Max decided he was much happier hanging out with the ladies, and invited his friend Emma over :)

First food

Just after Max turned 5 months, he decided he wanted more than just breastmilk. So, we thought we'd give solid foods a try and gave him some rice cereal.

He grabbed the spoon iwth the first bite and hasn't stopped since! He loves it :) So far he's had only cereal, carrots and beans, and let me tell you, the faces he makes when he tries something new are hilarious. I have some video from the first beans, so I'll post it soon :)

#1 Titans fan

I have a lot of blogging to catch up on, so these pictures are from a few weeks ago...

Last month, Max got to go to opening day of the Titans Rugby League season. Not only did he get to go to the game, but he got to take his first bus trip to get there.

Once we got to the game, he was just entranced by all of the people, color and noise. Overall, I think he had a good time. He behaved perfectly and didn't cry once (so Colin and I had a great time too!).

Now, his Auntie Kristin just bought him a Titan's rugby jersey, so he'll be all ready for the next game in 2 weeks! Thanks Auntie Kristin! :)
