Proud Auntie Again!

I know it's been awhile since I've written on my blog, and a lot has happened since then, so I'll start with the most important - my brother and sister-in-law had their 3rd baby on Monday, March 26th! His name is Jack Edward, and he was 9 pounds, 1.4 ounces, and 20 3/4 inches long. He's only one hour old in this picture!

It is the only picture I have so far, but I'll put up more as I get them. He came home from the hospital on Friday, and I got to see him on the webcam today, so that was the best! Now I really CAN'T WAIT to come home and see him!!!

The other exciting news is that we moved into our house and we're finally getting settled. I love the new house! All of our furniture has finally been delivered, so now we just need to put up some photos a decorate a little bit. Once we do that, I'll take some new pictures and put them up on the blog. We had our first dinner party at the house on Thursday. It's so good to finally be settled! Now all we need are some visitors to make it truly feel like home :)

We took another surf lesson yesterday, and this time the weather and surf were perfect - unfortunately, my surfing skills have gotten even worse since the last lesson, so I have a lot of practicing to do. We did have a lot of fun though, and hopefully we'll be able to take the next lesson in the next week or two.

Well, I guess that's it for now. I hope everyone is doing well!

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Hello Everyone! I hope you all had a fun St. Paddy's Day! We had a great day. We drove down to Mullumbimby to see Colin's brothers and the kids, and then spent the afternoon on the beach in Byron Bay (where we got married). Then, in the evening, Colin's brother Terry and his girlfriend Mel came back to the Gold Coast with us for a night on the town. Here is Reese with the twins. The picture is actually from a few weeks ago when Kelly put some pink hair dye in :)

And of course I took my camera out in Broadbeach last night, so here's a picture from the night.

I hope you're all doing well and are having a great weekend!

Aaaah...Saturday mornings

Wake up at 6am... not a cloud to be seen in the sky, 75 degrees... go to yoga at a park on the beach from 7-8... come home and cook a delicious "brekkie" of a passionfruit/mango smoothie and scrambled eggs with veggies and swiss cheese, read the newspaper, and still have the entire day to get things done... including an afternoon nap by the pool...

I love Saturday mornings in Australia :)

Working Girl Again

I've finished my first week of work in Australia, and so far, so good. I LOVE the organization that I am working for, so I'm really excited about that. It's been a little stressful this week, because I have SO much to learn, but I know I'll love it once I get settled. The Queensland Cancer Fund is amazing, and the services they offer are unbelievable. So, I am lucky to be a part of it.

Other than that, we're just getting really, really excited to move into our house in 2 weeks! We'll be having our housewarming party the weekend of April 21-22, if any of you can make it!

I hope everyone is doing well. We miss you all tons! Please remember to email when you get a chance!
