Can't wait to see you!

Our friends Andy and Jean (who are both Australian but live in Denver) were here visiting in September, and we had the best time! We can't wait to see you guys again in 3 weeks! Although Jean was very busy seeing her family, they were able to come and stay with us for a few days. So, of course we went to the beach...

Most of you are probably wondering what the orange tent is doing in the back? Well, the sun is so harsh here, that poor little Jean's skin would be burnt to a crisp after about 10 minutes in the sun, and 50+ SPF sunblock doesn't even help! Plus, being a responsible employee of The Cancer Council, it's best to have some sun cover. Anyway, one favorite Australian tradition is to have deep fried fish 'n' chips on the beach, so that's what we did (I, of course substituted a veggie burger for the fish, but was pretty excited that they even offered a veggie burger at the fish 'n' chips shop!). Then we headed home for some margaritas...

Yes, we are huge dorks :) Man, I miss my friends!!! Only 3 more weeks until I get to see everyone! And maybe Andy will be able to actually stay awake and have some fun this time...
