4th of July

With Nanny and Poppy here, we wanted to make sure they had a traditional American 4th of July.  So, we headed to Steamboat Springs, where Colin and I have celebreated the 4th of July and had tons of fun in the past.  So, in the morning, despite being about one million degrees, we headed to the town parade...

The boys weren't all that excited about it until...

...CANDY started flying off of the floats and trucks :)

After the parade, we went to a festival for free hotdogs and root beer floats, and then Nanny and Poppy went to the rodeo in the evening.  As much as I love the rodeo, we decided not to take the boys because they had to cancel the fireworks show due to the fires happening in Colorado.  Maybe Colin can take them next year ;)
