Snow Mountain Ranch

Our first getaway with Nanny and Poppy was to Snow Mountain Ranch, near Winter Park Colorado.  We stayed for 3 days and did lots of things (I'll have to make this several different posts :)).  We were all very excited to get out for a hike - it was Finn's first hike and Max's first hike on foot...

It didn't take long for Max to start searching for the perfect rocks to throw in the river...

It took him a little longer to realize how heavy the rocks were and ditch them for Poppy's walking stick...

And then he realized, "why do I need Poppy's walking stick when..."

"Poppy will just carry me!"



As soon as we made it to our destination, the boys didn't waste anytime before they started throwing rocks into the water...

We had to drag them away for a few family photos...

And to hike with Daddy to the top of the waterfall...

Finn was happy to stay at the bottom and hang with Poppy...

It was a fantastic day, with lots more fun to come!
