Pumpkins and A*#holes

Max has found some new favorite fall things - pumpkins and scarecrows.  The great thing about it is that there is an abundance of both everywhere we go.  The unfortunate thing about it is when Max says "scarecrow" it sounds like he's saying "a*#hole."  I'm not exaggerating - he says it loud and clear and it doesn't matter how many times I try to enunciate it properly, he actually thinks he's saying it correctly.  The other unfortunate thing is that it is also his new favorite word.  (Probably because we laugh every time he says it :)

So, everytime we see a scarecrow (at the grocery store, at the doctor's office today, at daycare, etc.) Max happily points it out and states what he sees over and over.  At the grocery store the other day he must have said it 75 times (and as you can imagine, people who don't know what he's trying to say don't think its so funny).

Anyway, here's some pictures of Max and his favorite things :)  2 weekends ago there was Pumpkin Harvest Festival that we went to...

Dave loves hearing Max say "scarecrow"

On my days off, we usually try and find some pumpkins and scarecrows somewhere, so last week we went to Rock Creek Farms.  Besides the pumpkins and scarecrows, Max also loved the haybale maze...

Oh how we missed fall when we lived in Australia!
