Almost summer!

Last weekend we took Max to the beach for the first time since last summer, and he loved it!! We had a picnic in the park first, to fuel up for all of the playing that was about to happen...
When we got down to the beach, he was pretty excited - a dream come true for someone who loves to eat sand :)
It was still a little cool to swim (the water is only about 65 degrees), but Max entertained himself with all sorts of discoveries he made in the sand...
Especially when he found his new sandcastle toys!
What a discovery!
I have a feeling we will be spending a lot of time at the beach in the next 5 months! I can't wait to take him in the water!
