Max's first vacation!

Max's first vacation has just come to an end, so here are some pictures of his adventures. He is now an international traveler - he visited 6 airports and took 7 different flights while we were away. Here is is at his first airport - Brisbane. This picture was taken just after he puked all over the airport carpet (better on the carpet than on me - we still had about 30 hours to go!)...

And this was his first flight - from Brisbane to Sydney...
We soon put him in his carrier, and here we are waiting for the train...

After our train ride, a very long wait in line to check in for our international flight and a very fast run through the airport to actually make the flight, we were on the plane! (We almost missed it - it was final call when we got to the gate and they closed the door to the plane right after us!).

Max was a perfect angel on the plane. Since we didn't have a bassinet to put him in, we had to hold him for the entire flight. Luckily, he loves is carrier...

And then, we got to America - YAY!!! Here we are at LAX...

One more flight to go, and we finally made it to Chicago where my family was all waiting. Max finally got to meet Uncle Brian...

And Auntie Kristin...

And was SOOOOOO happy to be reunited with Grandma!!! He missed her so much!

Once we waited 45 minutes for our baggage, we were ready to go. This was the first time Max has had to wear more than just a onesie, but he didn't mind...

All in all, the trip took about 35 hours (we had a traffic jam getting out of Chicago at midnight!)! It was SO good to be home!!!
